Default Smoothing the edges?

After you trim the body, how do you smooth out the edges?

I use a Dremel with a stone drum. It also works to make the edges real clean.

I used sand paper. 100 grit to clean it up and then down to 600 to really smooth them out. They looked like they were "factory"...course I ended up cutting them off not too long after! DOH!
Crappy pic but...

What speed do you set your dremel at for this? Curious too why you prefer the stone drum over the standard sanding drum. Just cut out my first lexan body and it looks like crap, ragged uneven edges. Before I scrap the whole thing I'm gonna give the dremel a try.

I've always used sand paper, and for those hard to reach areas I use something like thisTowerHobbies.com | FOR159 159 Fourmost Sanding Stick

I can't find exactly what I've got but it has the profile like an airplane wing, round on one side flat on the other, kinda looks like a half tear drop. For long flat areas use a regular sanding block.

If you cut carefully usually don't even need sanding.

Make sure to used curved lexan scissors to trim the body, regular kitchen scissors will leave it pretty rough looking.
