Some new wheels and rubber!! Just seeing how she is gonna look! I am still using this scx10 with another body till this one is done. I know I need to change the wheelbase but not ready for it just yet!

Looks great with that wheels and tire combo. As long as you can get them to fit without cutting the body too much or jacking it up with huge body posts. I like the cowl and grill work, very clean outcome! It looks much better without the Axial sliders and bumpers which were too large for the scale of that body. Maybe the smaller 4.19 Claws or something in that range would be easier to work out on that body? Would still perform very well but look more size correct. I think 1.55 wheels and tires are best for that body though (if you haven't made a definite decision). If you just picked up the Claws and those wheels, they are killer. Just big and will be hard to fit with turning and flex. I am looking forward to what you do next as the work so far is real nice.

I am going to be using G-Made G-Transition shocks with the droop set-up. Should make it a little easier to fit these tires. I am not a scale freak it doesn't have to be perfect scale as long as it looks cool and performs decent. I could use some help on clear coat, what should I use? Can I use something from home depot or the auto parts store?

The tractor supply box's look really good in the bed of the clod bodies when you drop the beds first. Without droping the floor of the bed the box sets way to high and in real life would totally block the view out of the rear window. Drop the bed or shorten the height of the box and there a great place to hide small lipos.

Your clod body looks really good and you did a great job on the hood, just wondering why you didn't fill in the lines molded into the fenders?

Always liked that body style chevy, especially when it was a two tone paint job. Paint looks great!
