| Edit: to answer the question-HugBug is instead of SlugBug you get a hug not a slug. for some reason little girls don't like to hurt each other like boys do... weird! I re-worked my daughters AX-10 for her B-Day. Her last body was a hard body and made it extremely top heavy...aka always flipping over. I have tried REALLY hard to keep this HER rig so she chose the body, colors and design (and made me keep the fenders on it so it sits too high on the chassis) I want to thank jwalker and caci623 for their free advice for the tips using the spazstix chrome. Thanks guys, you helped make an 8yr old have permi-grin for hours Pactra Fluoroscent Blue (backed with chrome) Spazstix Mirror chrome (backed with black) On to the pics! ...and working headlights Last edited by Mr.Joshua; 09-26-2015 at 07:29 PM. |

When you give it to her you have to be playing Trace Adkins' "Her Favorit Color is Chrome".

Wow! That is simply awesome! Nice work. Almost too pretty to drive did you make the LED harness? Or plug any play setup? Where are they on chassis shots!?! |

Only on chassis shot i have...still working in the body mounts. I made the LED harness (first time, so I'm excited) with a 9v with a switch mounted on the rear 4 link plate of the rear axle (2nd pic) |

That color combo works great, thinking I need to pick up some of that chrome from the LHS.

The strips are from the mask sheet i bought. We ordered the Pactra outlined flames but couldn't find a color that she loved to go in between the chrome and blue. I saved the rest of the outlines...never know when you may need some subtle flames.

Also - how do you like the placement of the 9V battery and switch? Easier/more convenient to run the circuit this way than adding it in to the main battery? Andrew |

So far i like the placement of the 9v. I don't know at point i had it stuck in my head not to tie into the main battery. It's working great though.
