No. I used the "salt" method, and the sophisticated finishes rust system.
The color of the rust looked much better before I top coated with Testors Dull Coat.

I love the patina you achieved with the tube work. It's got that rusted, but smooth and well-worn look. Excellent body color to compliment the rust as well.

Nice! The wood has that grimy, oil-soaked, "I've hauled leaky motors and rear-ends" look to it. Now u need to work those tires to match! Hahahaha. Great job. Thanks for sharin.

Hey thanks Brian! "oil soaked" was exactly the look I was going for.
Your right about the tires, they already look a little better now that I've run the truck a couple times.

What about the frame? Needs rust in the rear above the spring hanger. Maybe make some scale frame patch plates.

Those are some odd looking furry bushes in that last pic.

Looks just like a "real" Toyota pick-up, with all that rust. LOL. It would look a little more scale in the last pic with smaller dogs though.

Those damn dogs screw up alot of my scale pictures! They've also been known to rip a tire right off a rim
