Let's try to keep tech questions over here in the venders section for future reference...
http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/scale...de-camper.html

Some more pics...
The rear panel can be installed either way so the door can be on which ever side is best for you
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-w...2013.01.17.jpg

There's enough room on the narrow side for a ladder still or you can not run a spare and put a ladder where the tire is shown
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-c...2013.01.42.jpg

Winders will be available separately in clear or smoked plexi... maybe black plastic too
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-i...2013.35.37.jpg

Clamps are sooo handy, but not required
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-q...2021.05.15.jpg

Steve is super excited too but it's time for bed
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-S...2019.07.34.jpg

Doesn't require any modification to the bed of the truck other than some form of attachment, for example long body posts...

:lmao: I'd expect it to work with the Tundra and Clod bodies too but I haven't tested the fitment yet to say for sure.

Careful hilux bodies breed like bunnies :ror:

;-) it's getting there! Once I get the roof rack, ladder, spare tire, septic cleanout, and a door handle on we'll be looking real good. Gotta get the lights in there too, lights are going to but me over the top! I put the kitchen table in today, no pic though...

Best part is the Honcho's w/o electronics so I hiked that mother back into the woods for the right place to get some pics.

Dude that is so awesome. Have you tried driving it under a too-low scale gas station canopy yet?

FWIW, Winnebago never made a slide in camper. ;-)

I am a carpenter by trade, I would love to give your instructs a try. And if you know me, you know I will offer honest feedback.

Sweet! PM'd

The problem with the instructions is that in being hopelessly anal at times I have made a few of the front pieces oversized so the builder has some flexibility to decide which pieces go first. Being a small cnc I don't really have the option of cutting angles on individual pieces w/o changing bits during the run which would add a lot of time on my end. The gray area comes from the area over the cab, the rear of the camper is all square. Had I cut the pieces to the exact length there would be a slight gap where the angle is missing. I decided it's easier to sand a little off then try to grow a 3/16" later, after all it's 1/4" plywood so it sands pretty fast. I really need a table saw but I just don't have space or the funds.

I have learned from experience that some people don't want/need options... so I was trying to make it simple enough for the novice yet customizable for the experienced builder.

I can sympathize with that I work part time for a custom cabinet/woodworker and having to change bits/setup for just one or 2 cuts can take up a ton of time, awesome slide in camper by the way,I will have to get one once they are available, got a hilux sitting here just waiting for one "thumbsup"
