Default painting windows to look tinted

How do I paint windows on my lexan body to make them look like limo tint 5 percent? Can I use a spray can? One guy told me to paint it blue first then paint it black over the blue. Can anyone help?

I've used Parma Faskolor Fastint with good results. You can go from a light gray tint to nearly opaque black just by spraying additional coats.

Ok. Thank you. My truck is painted a gloss black. I hate seeing the battery pack and etc when I look at my truck so I want the windows smoked out on it.

I have also used "Candy Colors" if you want a different color tint. It's basically a little color in clear paint. Paint it on in light coats to get the desired "tint".

I post this so you're not stuck with just "grey - black".

I have used the Testors spray tint. Just make sure you dont spray it too thick as it will run easily.

I have used it too, but don't spray it over lights colors on your main body without backing with silver first or it will bleed through. Make sure to spray it in thin coats, let dry and then recoat.

Make sure you do extremely light coats because it can get dark real quick. 2 light coats is usually enough but it depends on just how dark you want it.

I just tinted my windows today. I used the pactra brand spray tint. The tint takes a long time to dry between coats. It didn't get the windows pitch black like I wanted though.
