Default New Axial JK body Armor Panels by CFM

Hey guys and gals,
With the introduction of the new Jeep JK from Axial, we thought you all might like some scale protection. We are planning on making rear corner guards, both shorty version, full version, and comp cut versions. Rocker guards, roof panels, and also tub guards. The tub guards are small pieces that go right behind the front fender between the door and fender, where the JEEP logo is located. They will bolt on with 0-80 hardware helping add to the scale realism. They will be offered in thin gauge sheet metal, thin gauge plain aluminum, and scale aluminum diamond plate.
Here are some pics taken from GenRight offroad for those that are unfamiliar with the products we will be making.

There is a vendor thread in the paint and body section of the marketplace. Please keep pricing questions over there. If you have anything else along these lines you want offered please ask.

Can't wait to get started!!

Most all have seen the Wraith panels we make.
Here are some examples of the aluminum diamond plate attached with 0-80 hardware.

And an idea of the roof panels.

The panels will come with supplied hardware. Depending on the cage design, there may be several different roof skin options.

I can but not gonna buy a body at the price people are selling them for. I'm gonna check my local stores and see if I can find one. They just aren't going to be as popular as these.

Carter. If your serious, I can ship you a brand new New Bright Jeep JK body to use for mock up for armor products. Just ship it back when your done. I'll buy armor from you for both the Axial JK and the New Bright JK.

More people will end up owning the Axial one, but there are thousands of guys out there with new bright JK's right now. PM me if interested. If not I understand.

I'm sure you'll be busy once Christmas passes.

Non problem at all! Just let me know if I need to ship the NB JK out to you in Hog Eye, wether or not it's tomorrow or in Febuary etc. etc.

Either way, I can't wait to see what armor add-ons you come up with for these Jeep bodies.

Got my body in today. Will be getting on the designs this week and hopefully have the templates done by the weekend. Will try and start moving product sometime next week. Prices will be in the vendor thread and on the CFM website.
Thanks
Clay

Here is the beginnings of the rear quarters. They will have the 0-80 hardware running along the top edge and a few down the rear tailgate area.

I'm thinking of offering then with or without the holes drilled as some may not want to drill their bodies. Please let me know if you have a preference so I can decide.
Best part is you only have to remove the taillight for installation. The panel slips in between the body and flares to help hold.
I also have 2 roof designs already, just need to make the templates and get busy.
Have to finish up current orders first but had to get an idea and feel for what's ahead.
Also what do you guys think about trim panels for these stickers areas in the back?

Panels will be coming in January. Working on roof skins tomorrow and the sides will also be part of a joint effort with another vendor on bringing his 1:1 companies products for the JK to the scale world.
Stay Tuned!!!

Everything is with a foot operated shear or special hand shears.

They clamp between the flare and the body and will have the 0-80 hardware also. Only thing you have to remove to install are the tail lights.

Hmmm, so just a slip under type deal. I'll have to see that.
