Be careful with this. Some spray masks are more unforgiving than others. I personally wouldn't apply spray mask to any lexan lid painted with water based paintes like Faskolor. I've gotten away with it but have found that the paint can flake if there's ANY edge for the mask to grab onto.

Good luck.

Thanks for the info. I'll be using this on aluminum body panels, that has been primed with self etching primer, paint primer, and base coat is down..

Thanks again,
Mike

What kinda paint you using? If its HOK or a like urethane...use a coat of SG100 or another intercoat clear. It'll help protect the base coat from getting contaminated. You wont see it but if you plan on clear coating yer job...you can see exactly where the spray mask was used in a lot of cases. I only use spray mask as an initial system for this reason. Once I hve base down...I go to transfer tape.
