Default How can I remove rattle can paint from plastic..

So I was tearing down my axial wraith to clean it up, regrease axles, so on and so forth and I decided to paint the chassis. I found a can of rustoleum gloss black and put a coat on it waited about 10 minutes and put another on it. Well I went to bed and woke up to a disaster.. The paint had wrinkled up and only a few patches actually dried fully. I think it may have been the fact that it was so cold last night... But now I need to get this garbage off my chassis. I don't want it looking like this. But I also don't want to buy a new chassis. Will DOT 4 brake fluid remove the paint and if so will it hurt the plastic chassis.. Any help is greatly appreciated...

Dot 4 probably wont touch the Rustoleum. Where you messed up was recoating that soon and the chassis needed to be scrubbed with Dawn to remove any grease or fingerprints. Your best bet will be sanding it down on the wrinkled spots.

yellow can-original-easy off oven cleaner will take it right off. but don't use the fume free, or an off-brand, they want work. wash with dish detergent, and repaint.

Yep, the good old-fashioned method... sandpaper.

Brake fluid should do it. It can take off baked on automotive paint. I've never had it not work. get at it quick, it will attack the not dry and wrinkled spots first which will let it seep underneath the rest and paint takes days to fully cure so sooner is better.
