Default Mud splatter effect?

Im gonna start on a build of the 1980 PL Blazer and was curious if any one had tips for a mud splattering effect. I plan to post the pics of the paint process as that is what im starting with.

You could try flicking the paintbrush with your thumb. Get a decent amount of paint on the brush, then just fan through the bristles with your thumb. It's fairly messy, but it may not be big splatters/clumps, if that's more what you're looking for.

That's a good way to get varying amounts of splatter. Plus you can always wipe it off (before it dries) if you don't like how looks.

Good luck and be sure to post some pics.

I like to dip different sized zipties in my paint, then bend them back and flip it towards the body.

Dump the cup through a fan with a screen on the other side?

use a toothbrush with your thumb instead of a standard brush, works better.
