i dunno if there is enough interest or if anybody will listen but dog nammit im sad about no longer being able to buy trail rangers to make zuk builds with.

+1. My concern is that with how deep in bed with jeep and poison spider axial is, I don't see anything non jeep coming out anytime soon....

I'm game, I wish someone would make a Zuk body, Suzuki abandoned me this year by leaving the US, My Grand Vitara has been one of the best vehicles I've ever had. I would love to do a mini me build.

I think the best chance of getting a zuk body is gonna be by a smaller company that isn't already in bed with a major vehicle company or one that isn't already paying for liscensing rights. I don't remember the company, but they are on here, deal only with rpp hobby and make nice wraith bodies. Maybe we can beg and plead,with them to run a set of zuks......

Yeah! Them!"thumbsup" I think a company like them would be the best guys to run a set of them..... Maybe a big enough group buy would permit a production of them.....

Right now I am working on 2 or 3 current projects, but tell me more about the body in this thread....

- And how it can be improved... like a grill with some detail.

Sorry. That's my mistake. I just know you refer rpp when getting you bodies. :mrgreen: axial did many many moons ago. I've never had that body, a few here have. It wasn't even a true zuk, it was similar. What we are wanting is a "true" samurai body. In 1/10 scale. Not mini or micro. So, its not so much about making a body better, its about finding a company that is actually willing to make the body at all......

I would be excited to make more of a "true" Samurai shell than the trail ranger above. It should have its own distinct styling and nickname, for a few reasons.

Short hard top, similar to trail ranger, with a recessed bed.
-or-
Full length top (with rear simulating a soft top)
-or-
Short hard top, with add-on simulated (formed Lexan) soft top, which adds a degree of difficulty for mounting flanges.


On another note... Yes, Corey and the crew at RPP have been great vendors, as well as Jake at ****.

I like where this is going. Samurai have so much potential full size it is truly a shame there is not a good representation in the 1/10 world
