Default Electrical Cleaner + Spazstix = NO NO!!!

So I've been using this brand of electrical cleaner to spray dirt/mud from trailing and even for my on roads with no issues. Then again it's never touched the inside of the paint since I've always been able to take the body off.

Last night while cleaning the electronics bay located in the hood section of my wraith overspray of the cleaner got onto the paint which instantly caused it to react and eventually ate through the lexan where the hinges were!!!

What formula would be safe for cleaning electrical stuff near lexan paint without destroying the color or body?

Luckily the rest of the rig is polished aluminum so no harm done.
