Default Axial JK flares on Proline XJ

As per the title, has anyone fitted the Axial JK flares to the proline XJ body yet??

anyone got both that could take pictures for me please? i havent cut my XJ body yet and im waiting for delivery of the trepadors so id like to know if the flares suit the body or if im to make my own...

TIA

i have no experience with the jk flares or an xj body.

but it might be the dingo flares would work out better. they are more of a universal style and you can trim them.

I've used the Dingo flares on the Comanche and I've seen them on the XJ and the fit well.

yea, ive seen the dingo flares used rather commonly and yes successfully, but im not a fan of the way they look.

the JK flares look very similar to the Bushwacker flat flares that are available for the XJ hence why id like to see them on an XJ.

so the OP still stands. thanks for the input tho Super and Badhoopty

I bought the rtr JK and immediately stripped I'd down. I kept the fenders and Treps and I think the Cherokee turned out alright. I didn't have to change the wheelbase to fit the body, just opened the wheel wells with the flares.

LOL! I saw "wraithokee" and I was gonna jump that thread too with pics of how I did a wraithokee. Then lo and behold, you already had a pic of my old wraith! sweet. I was actually looking at my old photobucket pics today and this one jumped out at me:

I'll have to sign up on that other site so I can follow your build.

this is the other one i like the look of.

so mine will be as narrow as i can get it on the AR60 axles, but with the Axial Trepadors and a centered rear axle so i can get it sitting on leafs in the bum.

Trimmed like that with the JK flares added would look great! Leafs in the bum, just like the real thing.
