question for the painters
 

I bought a used silver honcho body, and I read on here you can use dot 4 brake fluid or nitro fuel to remove factory paint, the question is what could I use as masking material to mast off area's, I don't want to remove paint to maybe make stripes, or a design. I like the silver paint, just want to and to it. its got to be brake fluid and nitro proof, I don't think tape would do it.

probably wont happen they way you would like it to, sorry to say.

best option would be to strip the entire thing, then repaint in the way you want it. Tamiya makes a silver that is very similar to the color used by axial.
