Default Styrene bumper/stinger?

Hey all,
has anyone made a bumper or stinger out of Styrene ?
Im wondering if it would be strong enough, I didnt see anything about

dont think it would hold up very well, you would be better off using brake line or steel rod. the styrene would snap like a twig.

Im sure it would be ok for a shelf queen but if your're gonna go out and beat on it I wouldnt bother
