| How To- Flaky and Peeling Paint
This is my tutorial on how to get worn down paint look on old body shells. I started with a Sand Scorcher body, which had a few layers of paint on. I want to strip it completely, so I used “Easy Off” Oven cleaner. This took some, but not all of the paint off, which gave the Bug a ratty, patina, worn, abandoned loo. I just need to add rust. It’s important not to let the cleaner sit for too long, as all of the paint will come off. I’m not sure how it will work on every body, as it depends on the paint, so don’t blame me if you strip off all your paint off your body! Enjoy. Feel free to share on other forums, etc. What it started off like- After Oven Cleaner- Will |

Use the yellow can, not the blue. The yellow has the right chemicals to clean off the old paint. Also, do it outside. sent from my GNex |

From there, you should cover it with matte clear!
