Scale Dodge Ram body
 

Im looking for a great high quality hard plastic scale Dodge ram body for my SCX10, I want to do it up like my 2004 1:1.

But I cant seem to find any good bodies, I have ordered the Proline body. But I wanted to know if anyone has seen a toy company that makes a good Dodge body?

I'm looking for a late 90s extended cab ram. Parma makes a lexan one but I'd like to find a hard body.

Something like this? Don't get your hopes up, I tried to buy from the guy who built it but seems he is no longer here. I'm still looking to.:cry:

yes that's the body im looking for, Im really hoping to find a toy company that makes one. But no luck as of yet.

I ended up with a 1/8 scale lexan on my 1/10 scale, its close, I looked every where for a hard body and could not find one that size any where. The body I have is a 2002 quad cab short box like the one above.

I saw this on ebay and thought Id let you guys know, I dont know anything about it but they claim its 1/10 and its actually radioshack selling it....so they have to be truthful?...

I think that body is way to small. You could get a couple 1/6 scale ones and build it but good luck on finding them.

I dont know about that one, 1/6 is huge - radioshack 1/10 is usually pretty accurate, there is a bronco they did a while ago that people pay big money for.

New Bright makes a bunch of Dodge bodies for their stuff, just have to check your Walmarts, K-marts, Toys -r-Us, garage sales, and yes, even the garbage. I garbage-picked this New Bright Raminator a month ago for mounting on my Ridgecrest. This one has the oversize wheelwell cutouts for the monster tires that were originally under it, but I've seen other New Bright Dodge bodies that have a normal fenderwell. I also still have the bed for this but am not using it yet because I have to lengthen the wheelbase by a 1/2 in.

I got the longer links on it, and put the bed on it, turned out good.

If anyone has a desire for the sixth scale bodies, pm me. I have a couple. They are really big but would make for a killer crewcab 2.2 build. Greg8)

This is the 1:6 body. The don't make them anymore and they are almost impossible to find.

This one is on eBay right now for $45 shipped but it's a single cab either way I'd jump on it.

E radio shack one is a bit small for 1:10 scale, if I remember correctly the last person I remember trying to build off of it said it was closer to 1:12 scale... I think a bit under 7"wide fender to fender so mrc axles may work but not scx10 w/o cutting them down......but I could be wrong.

If I'm not wrong,those are closer to 1/6 scale,but again I'm not positive.
