Default How can I get this effect?

Bought my AX10 crawler used and it came with this body and paintjob. Unfortunately, the body is getting to the end of its life. I like the way the body looks but I don't know how to reproduce it. I think this is different than the plastic bag marbling technique.

Any thoughts?

This one?

That's a cool effect but seems quite different than what I see on my old body.
The plastic bag trick seems to get you very angular designs. The one I'm trying to duplicate has more curves and...umm...blotches?

Try the plastic bag technique, but instead of plastic bag, use pantyhose

.

Try looking here.
Or,you can do a search for "splatter".

definitiely more of a drip & splatter technique. VERY messy to do - not one you want to try indoors - but can be a lot of fun as well.
