So just a small update here. I got the cab under it's first coat of filler. I have to say that this job is one of my cleanest crew cab conversions to date. I also filled all of the holes.

And here it is from the back. Should have two more coats and then I'll work out the window lines.

So since thats your best crew cab you've done that means the next one will be just as good right?

Ehh, maybe . I'm finding that each model has it's own quirks.

Just a small update here, no pics really. I'm still working on filler. When I fill I like to skim thin layers instead of globbing the filler on. As of now the whole truck is under what I think will be one of the last layers but it's hard to tell until it's all under primer. The bed has been primed and looks great. Once the cab has dried and is ready for another sanding I'll get some pics posted. I'm hoping to finish this body up within the next few days so I can get the '48 Willys body done. My game plan is to get both bodies finished so I can ship them both at the same time to Lue. Lue will be building a custom chassis for my '48 Willys Class 3 TTC .

So here are a few update pics. The touch ups from here are all pretty small. I figure one one more light skim on the roof will have it flat and ready for the roof lines.
Click the image to open in full size.

I'll true up the rear windows and then move on to door lines after the sides get sanded.
Click the image to open in full size.

Here are a couple of pics of the bed under a light coat of primer. I think it's looking great so far . I'll go over it with a sanding block and then touch up the imperfections will filler.
Click the image to open in full size.

I've got some more styrene coming so I can make a flat bed cover on the bed to smooth up the rear end.
