|  H2 SUT for Me
Since I have been doing a lot of body work for Patrick at LockedUpRc.com (King Jero Rebuild) and Eric of Eric113 (Ol Blue) I figured I go ahead with a project Ive been wanting to tackle for some time. I have been working on it for a few nights in between the other bodies and I am really liking it so far. My goal here is to replace the standard H2 body I currently run with this...    Im going for a full bed, no roll cage and custom interior which will loosely replicate a Military Humvee. |

I'm doing something similar but on my 1/25 scale H2. Will be chopping the rear portion behind the C pillar and reusing the existing hatch as the new rear window.

Started on the back of the cab but haven't figured it all out yet. Sunroof is out and filled in. I ended up having to cut out the entire raised section of the roof to get everything nice and level.  |

I have most of the interior done and a good start the bed. Next up, putting interior bed sides in, some details to the bed, and then some more details    |

 I got really lucky with it tonight too. I was trying to decide if I should glue the bed to the body and then decided to put the bumper on, and bam, it was a nearly perfect fit, and holds the bed in nice and tight. I just needed to trim 1/8" from the floor of the bed in the rear and overall lift the bottom of the bed up about 1/4" which in the end works perfectly. | |

 I really do appreciate the compliments Im not planning on adding too many more details to the interior as I wanted to keep it simple but I do want to try and make a few military items like the sincgars radio.C model  Probably wont do the antenna's but it sure would look cool. | |

This is awesome ... until I joined this site I never thought about modding the bodies like this ... but threads like this make me wanna try my hand at it one day ... keep up the good work cant wait to see the end result

Well I finally have this just about finished. I had messed up the paint a while back by getting a little over spray but didn't really care as this was more an exercise in body modification than painting. I still have the bed to finish painting along with interior details and lighting but its close enough to show you how it looks   |

Thank you The paint color is actually Pumpkin Orange. I guess in low light with the flash it came it looking red. I will get some pictures of it outside tomorrow to see if shows the color off better. |
