Lightbulb Looking for "The Reaper"

I'm wanting to build "The Reaper" from the prestone commercial. I want to build off of a scx10 chassis but I am having a heck of a time finding a body to start with. I know im not going to get anything exact, especially the whole back half. Just need some input on where to find or how to build the cab. Heres a link to what the truck looks like.

You could start with a Midnight Pumpkin cab.

that truck is one hell of a truck but i think you might find a big rig body that would give you a better start IMO it looks like a old Diamond T
click here for Diamond T pic
but you are not going to find one of those body's lol but you might find a MAC that would be close

I figured i wouldnt get exact. "close" i would be happy with. I really wouldnt mind it being a little big. I am okay with running wraith axles and 2.2s if need be.

Well if i can manage to get started on it. There will be a steep learning curve for me. I will do a build thread. It will probably be slow due to funding. Ive never worked with any detailed plastic work, gluing plastic, and the only "detail" tool i own is a dremel. I really want to do it. I have alot of cool things that i want to incorperate. I think step one will be finding the "close enough" body to build everything else off of. I will probably finish the body before i start collecting chassis, motor, shock, etc. Unless i come across a deal, of coarse. haha

Good find on the original builder of the 1:1 too. I had come across the pictures but not on their site. I wonder if i could contact them for more pictures of the rig.

Good find. With that body, MRC axles may be the way to go to get it to look right. Just so happens, i have a MRC that im not very attatched to. I could definately lob the cab off of that body and, with very little modification, make it look rite. hopefully.
