Default Trim or not to trim? Before painting

I will be painting my first body for my Axial G6 kit and was wondering should I trim the body first then paint, or vice versa. I have seen both methods and not sure what would be best. Can I get some of your opinions based on your experience painting bodys. Thanks

I trim first before paint so I do not take a chance messing up the paint. You can damage the paint by scratching it or even tearing the lexan while removing the excess material.

I always trim first, that way I can clean up the edges of the wheel wells and make sure any other lines are straight. I agree with jwalker about damage to the paint also.

I always trim out first and if the bod is for me, mark out mounting holes
