Default Chrysler 300C hardbodied scx10

My 4yr old gave me a toy car of his that no longer worked to make into a "monster truck" in his words, so I pulled the body sanded it, primed and painted it and now it's time to mount, I like the look of not seeing the body posts, since this is my first hardbody I'm looking for tips or ticks on ways to mount the body without drilling holes in it. Also, I'm thinking of ditching the spare tire carrier.
Here's what it looks like now.

Lose that rear bumper all together. Raise the front bumper a tad and shorten the rear links. Pretty cool body. You may be able to mount it to or around the sliders to save from drilling obvious holes

you could possibly mount it with rare earth magnets. glue the magnets to the body with shoe goo, & mount a strip of sheetmetal across the body posts (trim the to give the correct body position. This way its still removable.

Use heavy duty velcro pads. Make pads at the correct height for the body stick one side to that and the other to the body.

That's the only idea I had came up with, just wasn't sure it would be strong enough of a connection, wouldn't want the body popping off when I roll over, that would suck.

I have two problems with losing the whole back bumper, 1. Nothing tying the frame rails together in the rear of the frame(unless I leave the mount bracket I guess) 2. No rear recovery points.

That's a good idea, it would be easy to get the right amount of hold using stronger or weaker magnets.

Cool body but tough to get to look right. But still very cool. However not near as cool as 1 Stanley Fat Max! Best tape measure on the planet!! Lol
Just start hacking. New frame rails can be found for $20 if you f it up.

Actually, take a look at the bumper mount bracket. My son's Rubicon has shackle mounts directly on the bracket.

Not bad. You could call it the Eddie Bauer 300.

I made a couple up rights with a wide piece of plate so I could put Velcro on it. Got to use the good stuff. I used a 1" by 2 1/2" piece front and back. holds in any temp. never had it come off. Cant remember the brand but it comes as 2 lengths one is hook and the other is the fuzzy stuff. Ive almost tore the body in two trying to get it off.

I was.playing with some magnets and didn't like it, they hold but like said above it's weak, now to find some high quality Velcro since that sounds like it may work better, any suggestions?
