will lexan paint stick to regular plastic and stuff

will it? if i build a cab back out of plastic or aluminum can i paint it with lexan paint or will i need a special primer.

All lexan paint is lacquer based unless you get some of the water based stuff. Scuff your shell and shoot it then you'll have to clear it unless you want a semi flat look. For aluminum you will have to prime it with normal auto body primer.

Lexan paint works well and sticks to plastic really well, just make sure you clean it first. As mentioned above, it leaves a satin finish though. If your gonna paint aluminum, the auto body primer will work ok, but there are aluminum specific primers which will work better, such as a zinc chromate primer.

I've painted the wheels and plastic beadlock rings and the cage of my twin hammers. All of these parts have seen lots of abuse and yet the lexan paint holds up just fine.
