Help needed.

Hello everyone I just finished up my build and am getting ready to paint my body.
I have used this paint on my short course truck and liked how it turned out.
But I was noticing that the green on my sct is more of a yellow/gold.
I am using Createx airbrush colors, I have pearl lime and I was thinking of backing it with a black to get it a little bit darker.
I have a few pix maybe you guys can tell me what you think.

The one on the right of the last pic is backed with black. I want to try and get it a little bit darker but I also dont know if I want to get another color.
I did see the lime ice version of this color is a little darker.
I might try and find that one.
So what do you guys think back with black to try and get a little darker or just try and find the other color?
Another question if I add a little silver before the black what will that do for the color?

Black is the darkest you can go for a backer. If you use a silver it will just make it brighter. Your on options are the black or wash the paint off and mix a little darker green to get to what you want.

I haven't painted on the actual shell yet I used the wheel well cut outs to see what the effects might be. I am also planning on adding a racing stripe down the center of the hood in black.
But what do you mean by mixing the paints?

You are using Createx paint. You can fill a small container eith the main color you have and start adding a little black and dark green a few drops at a time and stir it all together till you get the color that you are after.

The body is from kamtec . The chassis was custom built by me . Using a hotbodies d8 truggy ring and pinion ( drive line car ) wb was about 9 1/4 . Yes that's a 3s in there .lol

That looks like the green that I was looking for. I think thats the some kind of green ice.
That looks pretty cool.
I just decided to go ahead and use the green I had and just back it with black
I picked this green cause of my remote I got the green flysky gt3c.
I will be posting some pics of it tomorrow in the light see how it looks and hopefully my screw ups arent too noticable.
I was trying to paint the grille area black but I didnt cut the liquid mask that well or I pealed it off all messed up. But so far I am happy with how it looks.
You are your worst critic.
