Paint question
 

What paint would you use to create a patina paint job? I'm asking about colors and brand. Also to make a body look like it is in primer, what colors would you use for that? I saw some threads on this but they were so old that the links no longer worked. Thanks in advance.

Not sure. I usually paint the inside. Am I supposed to paint the outside?

To get a good weathered effect it is easier to do on the outside. Scuff the body up and spray Bull Dig adhesive spray and then spray a rust colored paint and then silver, next you speay the primer color and finally the main body color. Now all you have to do is start scuffing the body with scotch bright and sandpaper till you get the effect you want. I even go as far as airbrushing spots that look like water has been running rust down. You can do the same thing on the inside but in reversed and you have to scuff in between paint coats. It is a time consuming peicess but is worth it.
