Dam it, I cannot find the Toyota emblem for the grill I had, its gone, but I did get the windshield wipers and the 4x4 on the fenders and my rubber mirrors with reflective mirror stickers from my Axial SCX10 Jeep kit. I look even more scale now, I like it a lot. ok just ordered a new grill emblem

I sent the 5.5 mm bullet connectors back to Holmes Hobbies there going to exchange them for 4 mm bullet connectors and mail them back to me, I like dealing Holmes Hobbies, Johnathan is a killer dude. I got my battery/ESC/Winch controller mounted, I had to trim it to get to sit on top on the frame and fit between the body mounts and slider mounts it was a pain in the ass, but I got just need to find the two face tape and my Velcro and its a done deal. This chassis is weird, you got pull the steering servo and winch/bumperto get to the motor screws and set your gear mesh and tighten them up, you cannot get to the lower motor screw with the servo and winch/bumper in place, so you got to tear it done, its ok, I'm getting familiar with this chassis real quick.

I bought this R2J Kustom solid Pull Pal from Locked up RC, going figure out away to mount it or just carry it with me, thinking about buying some 3s lipo's and wire the winch power leads into the ESC battery connectors, instead of running a separate battery for the winch, going to run a small 2s lipo for the lights, so the body still can be lifted off with out wires getting caught when lifting the body off or having to tuck the wiring just right when putting the body back down. If I do it right, the lights and battery and on/off switch will be in the body. Going to do some more work on it tomorrow.

I'm bummed out, my 20 month old Jack Russell, dislocated one of his toe's on his front paw, it got stuck in metal lawn chair, and the vet said it should heal ok. I got my wiring done, and I put a 2s lipo and a on/off switch for the lights in the truck bed box, and I found another MMP with a adjustable voltage regulator for the servo, So I can run 3s lipo's in my Toyota.

I got my R2J Kustoms Pull Pal today. I like it its pretty nice for $12.99, I'd buy another one if I had more than one winch, Going to make a mount for it, when I'm done playing around and finish the truck out. I got permanent nerve damage in my back, and I suffer from depression and I got angry issues, so when I get good days, I work on my R/C's, and on bad days, I got my two Jack Russell's to love me and make feel better, they are very entertaining and full energy and love to stay by my side until I'm feeling better, cause there very smart dogs, they can sense when I'm hurting and when I'm feeling good and just can't get enough loving from me.

Cool I found this 3s 1300 MAH brand new battery for $16.00 with shipping, I already have Deans Connectors and shrink tubing, and got my 4 mm bullet connectors and another MMP with a Castle 10 amp BEC, So now I can wire up my Holmes Hobbies brushless motor, and once I get it the battery, I can test out the Toyota build and run it.

I had the winch hooked up, and I was playing around with it and bent the bracket that holds the rollers in and that is the second time its gotten bent.

So I made a Winch Fairlead, I used my cordless drill and drilled holes and used the drill at angle to cut a slot in the fairlead, I cut all three piece together and the slot didn't come out to straight

It took me a long time with a small file square up the slot or get it close to it. If I had a mill or a drill press, and some End Mills the slot would of came a lot more square and a lot less filing.

but I don't, so I had to file the slot and in squaring it up the hook could pass thru the Fairlead, then I remembered seeing out in the shop, some solid hard rubber grommets, it took me awhile.

I found a rubber grommet and drilled a hole in the center and passed the winch cable thru it and now the hook won't pull back thru the Fairlead, If I pull it back in too much

I need to look at getting more winch line, and add new line and spool up a lot more line then what it comes with the winch cause it needs more line to run out.

I used a sharpie to see which looks better the bare aluminum or painted Flat Black, I'm thinking paint it, just not today

I got my Holmes Hobbies Brushless Motor leads soldered up and shrink wrapped and the Bullet Connectors soldered up and shrink wrapped.

I found my Velcro, so I mounted the MMP Esc and the winch wireless controller on the battery mount and I also put Velcro on the battery tray.

I still need to wire in the winch controller to the ESC wiring but want to be able to unplug it or skip the plugs and get hard wire it

They opened a new Sportman's Warehouse a few months ago.

Today I finally went in to the store and I found this to use as my new winch line.

Its Berkley Steelon Nylon Coated Wire that is 80lb test and 30ft long.

And looks like steel cable on a 1:1 Warn Winch

I also bought some Berkley Wire Lead Connector Sleeves.

So I maybe make a cable tow strap or cable tow rope.

It cost me a total of $6.00 with tax out the door

Sweet deal for 80lb steel cable that looks real, yeah baby

Here is some tow ropes, I made, this stuff is pretty flexible and the sleeves and some shrink tubing work good.

I figured out how to mount my Pull Pal, since the tail gate is already dented.

I just adjusted the dents and melted slot thru the tail gate

so the pull pal will stay tightly in the tail gate with out the winch line hooked to it

but it really looks cool with the winch line hooked to it.

I painted some rust on the slot, I need to scrape it a little, and use a scotch brite pad to knock it down a liitle

I finally finished painting the rear brake lens, and now I can mount the bumper and cut down the bolts going thru the bed to mount the bumper level.

I was digging thru my R/C parts and I found these stand offs, to use to mount the rear bumper, instead of the 1 1/2'' 8-32 threaded bolts that have to cut down, the standoffs are just the right height and look a lot cleaner and with the button head bolts it shouldn't get hung up.

I just bought 2 of these hard cased Juicepax 3s 5200mah and a Towardpro MG996R, High Torque, metal geared servo, I know there cheap, but they work good and if any thing, I can have it made into a servo winch for one of my SCX10's. I see the sell the spools and there is directions online, how to convert servo's into winches.

oh shit, I didn't realize those 3's 5200 MAH lipo's were 1 1/2'' tall, so I had to make a new Esc/winch controller/battery mount. I bought some 1 1/2'' x 1/8'' x 36'' aluminum plate at Home Depot really cheap.

I went to my nieces house in Clearlake CA, I got to spend time with Grand Niece and Nephews

They are my Nieces kids, so not sure if its grand or great,

I brought the Toyota crawler and my two Jack Russell's,

but never got a chance to due any crawling,

but I did spend a lot of time with my family

They loved me bringing my Dogs there were loved up the whole time they were there.

and wanted me to leave my Russell's with them

no way I love my Dogs too much

They were very good dogs and watched there behavior the whole time they were there.

So I went to the supermarket and hit the butcher up for some bones with hunks of meat still on them

cause I reward them for being good boys

and I'm very proud of them putting up with three kids plus the neighbors kids constantly messing with them

Samurai Jack has a blue tint to him like the bigger Terries

Ripsaw is a puppy in the pics

there family

its Uncle Jack at 3 years old

and the nephew Rip at 18 months old

I love my Russell's very much there my good boys

My RC4WD hooks finally came in so I made a 34'' tow strap with hooks on each end

The tow strap is wrapped around the spare tire and bed mount and both hooks hold the pull pal tight in the slot in the tail gate.

I like it better than running the winch line up over the hood and the roof and hook to the pull pal

cause I would have to remove it every time I flipped the body up, this way I don't have to

yeah I just bought the right RC4WD Winch Fairlead for my Warn 9.5 CTI Winch

They have been out of stock for a while, and looks so much more scale and cleaner than the one I made

yeah baby the scale ness is increasing.

I'm not sure I like it but I put the helper springs in and it is really stiff, I hoping they soften up after some time.

And it increased the ride height

and lifted it over all

It changed the angle of drive shafts too

They now have a better angle, less drag than before
