| Another honcho zombie response unit
I know I know... played out.. I finished this three years ago when it was semi cool and never posted pics and two of my shelf queens are getting pulled down and abused this weekend. This and my baja, the bolink c10 is going to be the last man standing. I forgot to mention the everything on the main body is paint besides the window decals Last edited by Badcopyinc; 08-08-2014 at 02:57 PM. |

Thank you It was my first time airbrushing with vinyl on the inside. It was interesting to get the decals to lay in the creases and not stretch.. Thank god for oracle |

This was a replacement body i picked up at the local hobby shop it was just the cab and window masking decals In case you were looking on how to remove paint from a lexan shell without damaging the shell the best thing I've found was dot3 brake fluid. Works pretty well! |

I want to go to matt paint so is it even possible to do that on the inside as surly the shell make any colour gloss? Although I have seen olive drab and matt black tamiya paint.........unless thats for the outside.ive only ever painted new shells on the inside so stripping paint off and painting the outside is all new to me | |

There's a video by jang on YouTube on using dot 3 fluid basically pour some in and use your finger and swish and rub. As far as painting on outside be carful won't last long at all. Especially crawling ! I've seen people actually paint in layers on outside like rust color base coat than flat top coat and silver inside so when it did scratch the top coat it would look like rust and sheet metal showing |

Yea I mainly trail in a forrest so have to contend with sticks and branches all the time so it would get scratched pretty well!!! Would matt paint on the inside just look like gloss due to the shell? Only ever painted shells with gloss. |
