Default using regular paint as a backing? ?

I am sorry if this is a newb question but I would like to find out before I ruin a good body. OK so I have my metallic green paint (duratrax rattle can) and after painting I can still see a hint of light threw the lexan in some areas. Unfortunately the hobby shop is a good hour drive so before I dedicate another trip to the lhs is it possible to back my paint job with say wall mart rattle can ?and what color to back this green?

Regular paint does not have the flexibility to move with the lexan and will end up cracking and flaking off. i always use backing black lexan paint on all my vehicles. just use it sparingly it is more of a black tint then an actual black paint so it wont ruin your main color but will get rid of the light coming through

Amazon.com: BULLDOG ADHESION PROMOTOR 15oz: Automotive
Get this stuff ^. It will work with lexan and Krylon fusion, I paint all my bodies with Krylon and not a single flake. It can be found at auto paint and body supply stores also.

Back the metallic green with (metallic) silver. This will make the color ''pop''.

And then back with black. (protects your paintjob and adds realism)
