Default What type of paint to use?

I purchased some scale items from Krawler Konceptz, for my SCX10 Jeep Rubicon. I got the door handles, gas cap, hood latches, and the tail light buckets.
What would be the best paint to use on these parts? KK told me not to use regular Krylon or Rustoleum. Should I use Lexan paint on them, or should I use a regular hobby spray paint? I was planning on using some Tamiya black Lexan paint, but I thought I would ask just to make sure.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I'd start with some nice Tamiya Fine Surface Primer L - Light Gray Spray Can
Tamiya America Item #87064 | Fine Surface Primer L - Light Gray 180ml Spray Can

Tamiya Paints are Really nice for Plastic..
