Axial Jeep body question

Ok, so I own a black 4 door Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and want to scare it to my scx-10. I want to buy the body and the top only. My question is, Can I attach the top part to the body if I don't have the side and top roll cage?

I'm assuming you mean, could you attach the Hard Top to the Jeep shell...without the Roll Cage? If so, then the answer would be no if you wanted to attach it the way it was intended...however, anything can be done with creative ingenuity. But for the small investment in the cage I think it's worth it.
