Windshield wiper pattern

10 Attachment(s)
Got an idea for making a wiper travel pattern for my TF2's, after putting a wiper motor in my van today. Came out rather well I think.

Just a light dusting of clear?
I always thought people used brown of some kind, but yours turned out awesome.

Its not over done , Just looks like regular everyday road dirt.

That's what I was shooting for, the everyday road grit. I almost tried brown, but went with clear blender from far away. I like this better than a color, but I guess anyone can tweak it to suit them selves. Thanks for the compliments guys! "thumbsup"

Thank you. I was really close to using brown. I figured if I didn't like the clear, I could finish up with the brown.

Got to agree that came out sweet. I was wondering how to get the dusty look and now I can do it to my hilux. Thanks for the step by step..[emoji106][emoji106]

Looks great! Did this on a couple of static Jeeps. Very simple way to add an ounce of realism to anything.

I think it was a good choice to go with clear. A brownish or tan color should only be used if you're going give it that, "I just plowed through a bog" look...for the serious mudding enthusiasts.

Thank you very much! Yes I agree with the brown finish, I do more trailing than crawling and mudding, I figured this would look much more appropriate given my truck never seems to get *that* dirty "thumbsup"

kinda hard to make out here, but yeah it adds a ton of realism to a truck.
