Default Casting/Mold Material

So, long story short, I am wanting to build a rig out of ABS, but when I am finished I want one for the shelf and I want a duplicate for using out on the trail. After I finish the body, I want to make a casting of it, so I can make a mold to use for vacuum forming a new body (using styrene). I realize vacuum forming is not as strong, but this way I could make duplicates if one breaks. Does anyone know of a good material that I could dunk an ABS body into and make a casting without damaging the original product?
