Default cleaning a new body

Hey guys i have a new lexan body that needs to be painted but it has finger prints and a bunch of other nastyness on the inside, how are you guys cleaning the insides prior to paint being applied?

I use a scoth-brite pad to scuff up the inside so the paint adhears well....and a mild soap

I just buy a new body.And I received yestaday,and I also clean the body with warm water.

Agree 100%
Also let it dry over night or air dry before paint.Can also scuff it up (like a cpl others have suggested).
