Default SCX10 Deadbolt body

Hey guys, I have the deadbolt and in the back at the body posts, its starting to crack at each post. What is a good way to fix this issue? Or, does anyone know where to find a new clear one? Thanks in advance!!

Repairing it will only be a temp fix, eventually it will get worse. To get a little more time out it, you could use a scrap piece of lexan and some fiberglass re-enforced packing tape, all on the inside at your holes.

RPP does have replacements either the prepainted RTR body or a clear replacement.

They have lots of stuff for the Deadbolt.

Another option is shoogoo, and fiberglass drywall tape. Make sure you keep the holes clear as it is very difficult to drill out, read clogs bits.

i went with the shoegoo option and it worked great!!
what bodies are being used on the deadbolt as far as scale "realistic" looks. i want it to look more real and have less plastic body rattle. lol
