AEV Double Cab BRUTE body - help me choose a color? I'm just wrapping up my custom AEV Double Cab BRUTE body. It took me two 1/8 New Bright JK bodies to make this one Brute body. Alot of hours into it with still a little more sanding needed and need to etch the door lines back, but paint is soon!! I'd like to ask all of you what color should I paint this body? I'm leaning towards white with black bed liner fenders and bed. I'm up for any color as long as it retains the scale look. Please let me know your thoughts or suggestions, thanks!! Re: AEV Double Cab BRUTE body - help me choose a color? I like the Dune Tan color and Commando Green colors on a jeep. http://forum.aev-conversions.com/att...1&d=1363712390 http://www.expeditionportal.com/foru...1&d=1358105487 Here's a color palette for a 2013 jeep to see a couple more options... http://bushwacker.bushwackerinc.netd...er-colors.jpeg |

I like grey, I would do a metallic mineral grey to be exact. For a back up color maybe factory red or green. |
Re: AEV Double Cab BRUTE body - help me choose a color? I like the bright blue that comes on the newer jk's http://fiveninedesign.com/wp-content...8/dsc03041.jpg |
Re: AEV Double Cab BRUTE body - help me choose a color? Why not consider the old willys jeep green |
Re: AEV Double Cab BRUTE body - help me choose a color? Re: AEV Double Cab BRUTE body - help me choose a color? Looks good in white. I would like to do a 1:10 scale of dave's personal brute. Their shop is around the corner from mine. http://s24.postimg.org/7fcgc3itx/Sav...icon_front.jpg |
Re: AEV Double Cab BRUTE body - help me choose a color? This is a real nice body. I'm currently building the same body for my SCX10 |
Re: AEV Double Cab BRUTE body - help me choose a color? Do you have any pictures on how you put this body together? |
Re: AEV Double Cab BRUTE body - help me choose a color? Thanks for the compliments and sorry guys, I didnt take any pics of the build process. Kinda just got in the grove and went with it. I'll post some better pics when I get a chance. Im about to start the custom steel exo chassis for this Brute body. Should be a sick rig when its done!! |

Re: AEV Double Cab BRUTE body - help me choose a color? Saw a JK today in a dark grey color called Anvil. Thought it was a neat color. http://www.wranglerforum.com/attachm...4&d=1375544499 |
Re: AEV Double Cab BRUTE body - help me choose a color? Anvil Grey is probably my favorite of all the Jeep colors!! Which route should I take this body? Rattle Trap lookalike Class 2 or AEV Brute Class 1? All input is welcomed. "thumbsup" |
