| I was wondering if Krylon Fusion works on the outside of lexan bodies. I need an OD green, and the fusion has the perfect shade. I need to know ASAP. Thanks. |

48hrs between coats sounds like poppy cock. you want the paint to be dry to a tackiness before shooting another coat. but read the directions; and follow. matt cincy | |

| the only ting i would be worried about is its ability to flex. just beacuse its made for plasitic doesnt mean it can handle the twisting and flexing that our bodies go through. Lexan paint is flat if you paint it on the out side. if you have a airbrush, even a cheapo wally word one, you can pick up some faskolor and make any color you want for about $3 a bottle |

| You have to scuff the surface, not sand it. If you sand it the paint will soak in, showing every scratch in the surface. We use 3M scuff pads in the body shop to paint bugshields and ventshades when we replace them for customers. I would think a brilo pad or other potscrubber would work too though. Just make sure you clean the body and dry it well. Also SHAKE the crap out of the can, very few people shake them long enough, and after a minute or two, shake it again! |
