Default gluing plastic to metal

I want to glue some newbright jeep JK rear lenses to a custom aluminum panel. Whats the best adhesive to use? I am thinking a 2 part epoxy but any input is appreciated.

I'd go with the 2-part epoxy, maybe even JB Weld

What ever ya choose, you are relying on a mechanical bond. So, cross-hatch-sand the the bonding areas thoroughly. No shiny surfaces!

Dont forget about CA as well.

You might give this a try. I've used it on all kinds of plastic and metal. Cures instantly! I've drilled, tapped, filed and painted it. Even patched a hole in a plastic radiator tank with it. $14.00 on ebay. Can be a challenge to work with, but the results have been worth it.

Yes this stuff is great. A little messy but it works on most plastic's. The only thing I couldn't get it to do was aluminum headlight buckets to lexan.

In my application, I thought about drilling but it will be a little too much work to get the lenses'tab to line up against the aluminum panels. I just cut the tabs down and made sure the surface is flat and used shoegoo. Its been ok so far.
