Default Lexan body cut and shut

I've taken a break from the RC world for a few years and now looking at getting back to it!

I thought I'd mess with making a new body for my Honcho. Length can be fanagled, but the body I know is too wide. Anyone cut and shut lexan before? Could someone point me in the right direction for product to use or a tutorial?

Thanks
