Default Has anyone used the 80 amp HF DC stick welder and converted for TIG?

Looking to get a BUDGET TIG welder (if there is such a thing) as I have no desire to build bridges (1:1 anyways) and really just want to try my hand at it. Sticking with a DC only as steel is my main concern.

I've seen people convert these Harbor Freight boxes on YouTube but I'm looking for some first hand experience. I'm typically one for buying the best I can manage, but this may not be a long term deal and 1200+ is out of reach.
