| New Bright TJ body differences
Today I scored a new bright TJ on eBay for $30. Others were going for $60-95. Last time I bought on eBay I got screwed. The silver body was really brittle and it showed up with the back half nearly broken off. I only got a fraction of my money back. My current build is using the black body with red seats. Aside from the differences in scale, what are the differences between all the different New Bright TJ bodies? The one on eBay is the black with blue seats. Is it the same material as the black with red seats one? |

New Bright had two "generations" of the body. The first was black with blue racing seats and that seemed to be a better plastic thickness than the later ones (red body with black seats). Do keep a close eye on the scale size though. They're hard to tell the difference in pictures.

The body came in today. It's in good shape but the plastic is a little thinner and seems more brittle than my current black with red seats body. I wonder is Ser100 has some info on these things.

What I have noticed is that there are two different types of plastic altogether. I have a black and red 1/10 tj that are a softer flexable plastic, and a blue, yellow, and brand new green tj (bought on tuesday) that are a harder more brittle plastic.
