| powder coating aluminum body panels.
I was just messing around one day with a piece of scrap aluminum and cut out a new body for my wraith. Spent a few minutes with a ball peen hammer and a leather welding glove to shape the hood. Then decided it looked too generic, so I decided to powdercoat the body and was super pleased with the results. I powder coated the inside and outside of the side panels. This was my first time powdercoating. |

Looks really nice did you take any photos while you were shaping the body? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk |

What did you use to powder coat them? I have aluminum panels on my wraith and they are to plain, I'm trying to decide what to do with them.

Craftsman powder coating gun and a convection oven. I also sandblasted the panels so the powder sticks, I did a test panel and dropped a brick on it, it just put a nice dent in the panel, the coating stayed pretty much in tack. |
