Default quick question

I got 4 Wild Willy Drivers

I want to paint up

by hand

I see Tamiya makes a Flat Flesh color

XF-15 is the Tamiya number

the question is it comes in

Enamel and Acrylic

which is better ??? which is better to paint small detail like Willy Face

Normally have always used enamel since I started building models

back when I was a kid

I have used Acrylic once and it was way too thick

and just didn't seem to stick like enamel does

just wanted to hear what other people are using

they look like different shades

the only way to tell is paint a little

and see what it looks like dried and cured

I just use modeling paint for mine. But the watery feel of the enamel is a plus IMO. The key is in the shading. That's where washes come into play to give it depth.

Personally i find acrylics easier to work with and clean up but 110% right on the shading utilizing washes to enhance moulded in details and low points to really make it pop
