Easiest way to get camouflage effect I discovered this a couple of weeks ago. I used ketchup and mustard to create a real quick camouflage effect. You can of course also use other sauces. http://youtu.be/vLIXsStthNQ http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/m...BDD0D87D42.jpg http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/m...FD64C14155.jpg |
Re: Easiest way to get camouflage effect Interesting......... But that made me think of a HotDog........:lmao: |
Re: Easiest way to get camouflage effect 1 RC body, add BBQ sauce and season well. Cook until nice, crispy, and melted. Serve with a side of chewy Axial plastic. Bon Appétit :ror: On a side note though, this reminds me of doing knife patinas with mustard...way easier than cutting all the camo strips seperately though, nice find. |

Re: Easiest way to get camouflage effect Wow, I would never have thought of that but I'm for sure gonna try it! With the right bottle I'm sure you could get a nice almost "Tiger Camo" ;-) ps. your channel is awesome! i binge watch it for hours sometimes "thumbsup" |
Re: Easiest way to get camouflage effect Never seen yellow and red camo, not sure what you would hide from. Pattern looks nice though. Now I'm hungry, thanks! Now looks like I will be loosing the next hour of my life in a good way..... youtube rabbit hole. |
Re: Easiest way to get camouflage effect 3 Attachment(s) I don't know, but that looks like it's more work than it's worth. I do camo on most of my trucks, and it's just easier painting on the outside. |

Re: Easiest way to get camouflage effect even if it isnt camo its still a cool effect. Thanks for sharing! any reason to use ketchup AND mustard? Seems like only 1 is needed. |

I sponge paint the inside of my lexan bodies with orange, gold and brown to look like rust. Then, back it with silver, then black. http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/a...0323-00619.jpg Then, I paint the outside with my Camo pattern. As you run down the trail and scrape it, the outside paint wears through and looks like rusted metal underneath! Its tough to see it in the pics, but looks really cool in person! http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/a...psdaurrwl3.jpg |
