Default Hard Body Prep

Hello all,

Brand new to rc crawler and newish to crawling in general. I have a TF2 that's got a custom welded cage that I just picked up. its stripped down and needs a lot of work so im starting with the paint on the cage and the body. would anyone have any friendly advice on striping the old layers of paint off the body and prepping for re-paint. Its obviously going to get beat up but I like to do things right and only once.

Btw im sandblasting the cage tonight and cleaning a few welds up so im anxious to get started.

Any prep advice for hard bodies or metal cages would be greatly appreciated!
