On the Taobao-website is a photo of a topview showing two halfs. In one of the pictures of the white one you can also clearly see several screws at the "B" pillar. Maybe their mold wasn't big enough? Better shipping? Who knows....
But since you use screws to attach the parts it shouldn't show in the end.

Dang - just got RC4WD's Blazer and now this.... looking forward to all the new builds!
