Could you give any info on how you mounted it? I've got a Wraith interior I'm looking to do something similar with.

And yes chevy4life, we have plans for more Bowtie bodies but there are a lot of other things in the works. So you would like to see the '72 C10 for the honcho?

Guess he has no online presence? Searched and nothing found under RRC lightbar or Roberts RC (except a track)...

Just looking for links to add to my collection for future upgrades or builds.

Currently have the 4" lightbar I need for my RR10.

BTW - I truly feel that Ford cab is the sweetest Honcho-style body ever made. Next build, maybe!

Put some of those upcoming Bogger tires I'm hearing rumours about on it?

Oh, yeah...

Ah, and a ShapeWays store. Thanks!

...and nice rig!

I'd love to see a 3D grille and headlights released for that body...

Anybody have a picture of this cab next to an Ascender K10 cab with a length measurement please?

Edit: Lots of great two-tone paint jobs in this thread!

It would look extra-cool with a longer cage such as the Vaterra... seems a tiny bit oversized for the Honcho cage.

That's what I'm thinking and wondering if it would line up well with Ascender at WB4 (12.3")?

Since the Proline website states it is for the 12.3" WB SCX10, I guess an alternate question would be how does the Vaterra cage compare to the Axial Honcho cage length-wise? LOL.....

We could do this all day!

Hang on, I guess they mean this is about the same length as the Honcho cab - at least from front wheel center to back of cab.......

According to Proline - Ford cab is :

Length: 11.125" (283mm)

According to Axial - Honcho cab is:

Length: 12" (304.8mm)

Vaterra Chevy K10 cab is:

(unknown- still searching - edit: gave up, they don't seem to list it anywhere - it's the unknown variable, can the math be done with it as "X"?)

Yes and yes.

Perhaps...lol.

I don't have a Honcho cab handy at the moment to measure, that's why I asked.

Thanks for the edited updated info, that's same as I found. Don't see how the Honcho cab and Proline cabs are nearly as long as the entire 12.3" wheelbase, and it would help if Vaterra updates the dimensions on their site, I'll contact them about that and update later after I dig out a Honcho cab.

So, I was looking at this pic :

And mentally lifted the body from the chassis and slid it back to where the tip of the hood was at the front axle centerline.. the rear of the cab does seem too go pretty close to 1' from the rear axle centerline. I dunno, though - those listed measurements are probably off. Although, the Vaterra info that hillbillyrc found sounds pretty close!

Thanks Hillbillrc and Durok!

Measured my K10 and Honchos, height can be trimmed some and my Honcho has about 1/4" iirc trimmed off the bottom edge. K10 has not been trimmed.

K10..........Cab..............Bed
Length......9.25".............8"
Width.......8".................8"
Height......4.75"............4.375"

Honcho.....Cab..............Bed
Length.....11.3"..............6.75"
Width........7.5"..............7"
Height.......5.125"...........4.3125"
