| Styrene scratch building basics
Hello all! I am just about finished with my custom 8x8 build and finally in need of a body. Doing some research it seems the only affordable way to get a MAN cab is scratch build one. I have been in rc for a while but have no clue how work with styrene. What thicknesses should I use and what are some good building techniques. Also where do you guys pick up your styrene. I am only 15 and don't have access to big machinery and this build has meant a lot to me. Any help would be much appreciated!

I would start with .20 and .40 sheets. They can be sandwiched if needed to make thicker sheets. As for adhesives, check the sticky at the top of this section. If you're doing curves the easiest way to get the shape is to layer your styrene sheets and sand the edges until smooth and curved to your liking.
