Painting finer details on Lexan?

I'm doing an Ascender. I painted on the outside to make it look more scale, and I have the decals that it came with on right now for all the windows and side trim and stuff. I'd like to go back after those get torn up though and paint the details though (black for window seals, silver for body trim pieces and such), whats the best paint to use? Will the generic testors model paint hold up ok for smaller stuff like that?

Also, I think for most of it I'd be painting over the paint thats already adhered to the lexan, not straight to lexan, if that makes a difference.

I just really dont want to tape off tiny details like this to rattle can with Tamiya paint.

I've used the testors model paint for small details (like molded in shock bodies) with good results in the past. I've never applied it over lexan paint though so I can't speak to that..

I painted my window rubbers, grill details and tailight trim with old school testor's paint in the tiny bottles. Been using the truck often and it's holding up fine. If I scrape it on a rock, it scratches, but it's not flaking off at all.
