| Honcho Cage Touch Up
Hello, (If this has been suggested before, please credit the person or thread.) I wanted a cleaner look for my Honcho, so after making a short bed that I wanted, I then cut off the existing tabs on the roll cage that were there for the longer bed. This left a gray area where the cage was filed and sanded. I found that if you use a black permanent marker that it will match the original color fairly close. After applying the permanent marker and letting it dry for approx 10 minutes, lightly go over the streaked surface that the marker leaves with extra fine steel wool. With a little practice you will find out how much effort is required to match the existing color. If you go over the area too much, just re-apply the marker and start over. I hope this helps someone as I found this to be a simple, and cheap, solution to “pretty” up the cage. Now I can go out and scratch it up…... |

That looks good. The plastic resembles anodized aluminum after the Sharpie.
